Max, a born entrepreneur, is forced to move to the country with his debt-ridden father. After tasting a delicious omelette made with eggs from his aunt's hens, the boy gets the idea to become an organic chicken egg farmer with his innumerate cousin Charles. However, the ambitious business idea requires money, chickens and a marketing plan, which the resourceful Alice helps with. To succeed, the children need the support of the villagers.
